Closed testing
Atlas Closed Testing Terms
Version 2026-10-11 · Effective 11 October 2026
1.About these Terms
These Atlas Closed Testing Terms (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and OsmFX Mods (“OsmFX”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your application to, and your participation in, the closed testing programme for Atlas (the “Programme”), and your use of Atlas while the Programme runs.
You accept these Terms when you tick the box agreeing to them on the application form, or when you first use the Service, whichever comes first. If you are applying or using the Service on behalf of a FiveM server, its owners or a team, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them, and “you” includes them.
These Terms apply to Atlas only. Purchases from the OsmFX Mods store remain governed by our Terms of Service and Refund Policy. If these Terms and those documents conflict on anything to do with Atlas, these Terms prevail.
2.Definitions

- “Dashboard”
- means the website at atlas.osmfxmods.com (and any successor address) where you view and manage your city.
- “Account”
- means your sign-in to the Dashboard, and any server keys or tokens issued to it.
- “Your Server”
- means each FiveM server on which you install the Atlas Resource.
- “Player”
- means any person who connects to Your Server.
- “Player Data”
- means information about an identified or identifiable Player that the Service receives from Your Server.
- “Server Data”
- means all data the Atlas Resource sends to the Service, including Player Data.
- “Access Code”
- means a sign-up code or invitation we issue to let you create an Account.
- “Feedback”
- means suggestions, bug reports, ideas and other comments you give us about the Service.
3.Eligibility and applying
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to apply or to hold an Account.
Atlas works with all the popular FiveM frameworks. For this phase of the Programme we are taking applications from servers running Qbox with around 5 to 25 players on a typical night. We may change these criteria at any time.
You apply by completing the form on osmfxmods.com/atlas and signing in with Discord. When you sign in, Discord shares your Discord user ID and username with us, and you allow us to add you to the OsmFX Discord server. We add you there with a role that marks you as an applicant, and change that role if you are accepted. The OsmFX Discord server is where we run the Programme and contact you. You may leave it at any time, but we may then be unable to reach you, and leaving may end your participation. Your use of Discord is governed by Discord’s own terms.
Places are limited. We choose participants at our sole discretion, and submitting an application does not entitle you to a place, to an Access Code or to a reason for our decision.
4.Access Codes and your Account
Access Codes are personal to you. They may be single-use and may expire, and you must not share, sell or publish them. You are responsible for keeping your Account credentials, recovery codes and server keys confidential, and for all activity under your Account. We strongly recommend turning on two-factor sign-in.
Tell us promptly on Discord if you believe your Account or a server key has been used without your permission. You can replace a server key from the Dashboard at any time.
5.A pre-release service
The Service is in closed testing. It is incomplete, and you accept that during the Programme:
- features may change, be limited or be removed without notice;
- the Service may be unavailable, slow, or contain errors;
- Server Data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, reset or lost;
- we provide no service level, uptime commitment or guaranteed support response.
Do not rely on the Service as your only record of anything that matters to you, and keep your own logs and backups.
6.Fees and limits
The Service is free during the Programme, and we will not ask for payment details. We may apply reasonable usage limits (for example on players, events or retention) and will tell you about any that affect you.
If we later introduce paid plans, we will tell you before any charge applies. You will never be charged without first agreeing to it.
7.Your responsibilities and acceptable use
You must use the Service lawfully and in line with the terms of the platforms Your Server runs on, including the Cfx.re / FiveM platform terms. You may install the Atlas Resource only on servers you operate or are authorised to manage. You must not, and must not help anyone else to:
- copy, share, sell, sublicense or redistribute the Atlas Resource, the Dashboard or your access to them;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the Atlas Resource or the Service, except to the extent the law allows despite this restriction;
- try to access another server’s data, another person’s Account, or any part of the Service you are not given access to;
- probe, scan, load-test or security-test the Service without our written permission (if you find a vulnerability, please report it to us privately on Discord);
- send data you have no right to send, or deliberately send special category data (such as health information) or the data of children where the law forbids it;
- use the Service to harass, expose or unlawfully monitor any person;
- disrupt or overload the Service, or work around its limits.
8.Server Data and Player Data
What is collected. The Atlas Resource sends gameplay information from Your Server, which can include: identifiers issued by FiveM and the game (such as licence identifiers), character names, positions in the game world, in-game money movements, jobs and other events your framework exposes, resource and script errors, performance measurements, and any logs you choose to forward (such as ox_lib logs). The Service does not collect Players’ IP addresses. In-game chat is collected only if you switch that on.
Who is responsible. For Player Data, you are the controller and we are your processor. We process Player Data only on your behalf and on your instructions, which are these Terms and your settings in the Dashboard, to provide, secure, support and improve the Service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect Player Data through the Service and for telling your Players, for example in your server rules or privacy notice, that gameplay analytics are collected.
Who can see it. Each server’s data is kept separate, and no other server can see yours. Your Account can see your Server Data, and so can the small number of OsmFX staff who need it to run, secure, debug and support the Service. They are bound to keep it confidential.
How we look after it. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Server Data, including keeping server keys hashed and offering two-factor sign-in. We use hosting and infrastructure providers to run the Service, who process data only to provide their services to us, and the data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards. We do not sell Server Data or use it for advertising. If we become aware of a breach of security affecting your Server Data, we will tell you without undue delay.
Improving Atlas. We may use aggregated, de-identified information about how the Service performs and is used to improve Atlas. It will never identify you, Your Server or any Player publicly.
Players’ requests. If you ask us to forget a Player, we delete everything the Service holds about them. We will also help you, within reason, to respond to requests from Players exercising their data protection rights.
Retention and deletion. We keep Server Data while your participation continues, subject to any retention limits we apply. When your participation or the Programme ends, we delete Server Data within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it. Ask us before then if you would like an export, and we will provide one where it is reasonably practicable.
Information about you. We use your Discord ID and username, your application answers and your Account details to run the Programme, to contact you and to keep the Service secure. We keep them for as long as you take part and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete them at any time on Discord.
9.Feedback
Feedback is the point of the Programme, and we are grateful for it. You are not obliged to give it, but if you do, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use it for any purpose, without obligation or payment to you. Please do not include anyone else’s confidential information in Feedback.
10.Confidentiality
Information about the Service that is not public, including unreleased features, the Dashboard, the Atlas Resource, Access Codes and anything we share with testers in the OsmFX Discord server, is confidential. Keep it to yourself and the people who help you run Your Server, and do not publish it without our permission. You are welcome to say that you are testing Atlas and to share your general impressions. This does not cover information that is or becomes public through no fault of yours, or that the law requires you to disclose.
11.Ownership and licence
We own the Service, including the Atlas Resource, the Dashboard and the Atlas name and brand, and all intellectual property in them. While you take part, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install the Atlas Resource on Your Server and to use the Dashboard, in each case only for running Your Server and only in line with these Terms.
You keep all rights you have in your Server Data. You grant us the rights we need to host, process and display it to provide the Service as these Terms describe.
12.Third-party services
The Service works with services we do not control, including FiveM and Cfx.re, Discord, and the frameworks and libraries Your Server uses. Changes they make may affect the Service. Atlas and OsmFX are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Cfx.re or Discord.
13.Suspension and ending
You can stop taking part at any time by removing the Atlas Resource from Your Server and asking us on Discord to close your Account.
We may end the Programme, or suspend or end your participation, at any time. We will try to give you reasonable notice, but we may act immediately if you breach these Terms, if your use puts the Service, other testers or Players at risk, or if the law requires it.
When your participation ends, your licence ends, you must remove the Atlas Resource from Your Server, and your Server Data is handled as set out in “Retention and deletion” above. Sections that by their nature should continue (including Feedback, Confidentiality, Disclaimers, Limitation of liability and General) survive.
14.Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
The insights, findings and figures the Service shows are for information. They may be incomplete or wrong. Decisions you take using them, such as banning a Player, refunding in-game items or changing your economy, are yours, and you should verify the facts before acting against a Player.
15.Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, revenue, Players, goodwill, data or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the Programme or the Service.
Because the Service is provided free of charge during the Programme, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with it is limited to £50.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
16.Your responsibility to us
To the extent the law allows, you will compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable costs we incur as a result of your breach of these Terms, or of any claim by a Player or other third party that you had no right to send us Server Data or that your use of the Service broke the law.
17.Changes to these Terms
We expect to revise these Terms as Atlas develops and before it leaves closed testing. We will post the new version on this page with a new version date and, for material changes, tell participants in the OsmFX Discord server. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and let us know.
18.General
These Terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Programme and the Service. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under them without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a business that takes over the Service. If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues in effect. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. No one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing in these Terms affects rights you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Questions about these Terms are welcome in the OsmFX Discord server.
